The University of Sheffield International College is seeking an enthusiastic educator with a passion for Business and Management and a student-centred approach to teach Management modules with the Business and Economics Team

ABOUT THE ROLE  

Candidates are expected to be skilled in teaching materials designed to prepare students for Management degrees (e.g., MBA, MSc in HR Management, Information Systems Management, International Management and Marketing etc.). The post holder will be fluent in both written and spoken English with experience marking and administering assessments at a minimum of RQF level 3, along with a proven track record of delivering Management modules within UK Higher Education, Further Education, or Sixth form

Candidates should be familiar with Virtual Learning Environments (e.g., Blackboard) and digital teaching tools (e.g., Wooclap, Kahoot or Mentimeter) as well as proficient in using IT for teaching administration, tracking student engagement and analysing outcomes

Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development, strong record-keeping skills, and flexibility in managing multiple priorities under pressure. If you are a team player with effective communication skills, who is able to work to deadlines, we encourage you A PhD or Master’s degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent experience. Individuals working towards a PhD are encouraged to apply.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience teaching Business and Management disciplines, or a related field, at RQF level 3 or 6, or equivalent teaching experience
  • Demonstrable success with marking and administering assessments, at RQF level 3, or equivalent experience
  • Proficient use of IT for teaching administration, tracking student engagement, and analysing outcomes
