An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Organisational Developer at the University who is highly motivated by the challenges of our aspirations and goals.  As a member of the Academy, you will use your expertise and drive to design and deliver sector-leading development of the University’s greatest asset – our people.

As a member of the successful Organisational Development (OD) team within The Academy, you will work in partnership with leaders to ensure that OD activity is delivered effectively and efficiently at the point of need, acting as an enabler to the achievement of the University's strategic ambitions.  You will manage a portfolio of responsibilities and initiatives and, in particular, you will have strategic oversight of our emerging talent portfolio and its associated development requirements including our aspirations regarding the diversity of our University community.

Your work may involve developing hybrid or blended solutions, engaging in direct delivery, commissioning external expertise, coaching, or drawing on a range of OD tools and techniques to provide high quality interventions and support. You will be talented and creative, with experience of developing practical OD solutions, including engaging and inclusive e-learning and/or blended materials which have had an organisational impact.

Utilising exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, you will have the ability to develop and maintain excellent working relations and will be a highly effective influencer.  You will adopt a user-focused approach and be committed to service improvement. Building on a strong track record of successful delivery in an OD and/or apprenticeship focused role within a complex organisation, you will be highly motivated to support the successful realisation of our University and Academy goals.

You should have a CIPD Qualification/Learning and Development Qualification or equivalent professional experience. You should also have evidence of relevant experience in working with digital development solutions, such as e-learning/online learning.

This is a hybrid role which requires on campus presence, which also has the flexibility of some remote working (subject to operational requirements).
