WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A proactive individual who is passionate about ensuring exemplary quality standards at TU London. You will deliver services which are integral to the effective operation of TU London working collaboratively with colleagues across the campus. In this role you will provide advice, guidance and support to ensure that TU London maintains compliance with both University and external regulations.
Your responsibilities will include a customer service excellence approach to welcoming and supporting our international students and in providing advice and support to academic and professional services staff to ensure quality compliance. The role involves provision of immigration advice and guidance, through various means including individually and through presentations and training. You will provide operational and administrative support to ensure compliance with University regulatory frameworks governing the student experience.
You will have knowledge and experience of minuting of meetings or committees to produce reports that are accurate, concise and coherent, within tight timeframes. Knowledge and experience of working with UKVI rules and regulations on the Student Visa Route is also a requirement of the role. You will have demonstrable experience in the use of MS office and the use of management information systems/databases.
Your skills and expertise will include highly developed communication skills, being able to effectively present information verbally to a variety of stakeholders. You will have the ability to use initiative to make independent decisions within own area of responsibility proactively. You will demonstrate a high level of organisational skills and the ability to work with minimum supervision, prioritising your own workload and that of others.
