Applications are invited from Histopathology specialty trainees with outstanding potential to develop into a clinical academic leader. This post will provide clinical training in Histopathology, along with an excellent opportunity to develop a research portfolio.
The post is part of the Scottish Clinical Research Excellence Development Scheme.
It is available to candidates who already hold a National Training Number in the relevant specialty. The successful applicant will be expected to transfer to an East of Scotland Deanery NTN and will hold an honorary clinical appointment as a Specialty Trainee in Histopathology.
The lectureship is for the duration of remaining specialty training, i.e. up to 5 years, and the postholder will spend 20% of their time developing a relevant research programme. Research activities will be based in the University of Dundee’s Department of Histopathology at the Ninewells Hospital & Medical School site.
