About the roleYou will be joining Modern Languages, Translation and Interpreting, one of the subject areas in the School of Culture and Communication. Colleagues in this area deliver teaching and research within their specific language area, contribute to cross-language modules in culture, teaching, translation and interpreting, and engage with relevant scholarship. We offer European languages – French, German and Spanish – from beginner to advanced (post A-level) (CEFR A1-C1), as well as Arabic, Italian, Mandarin Chinese, Catalan and Portuguese as elective languages and/or pathway languages within a degree.
At undergraduate level, Modern Languages, Translation and Interpreting offers BA Modern Languages and BA Modern Languages, Translation and Interpreting as single honours degrees, as well as a range of joint and Combined honours degrees.
