The MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology wishes to recruit a new Research Group Leader (6-year Tenure Track) to the Division of Structural Studies.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding computational scientist with research interests in the development of artificial intelligence/ machine-learning methods that will further our understanding of biology at the molecular and/or cellular scales. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, imaging (with light and/or electrons), protein engineering, cell engineering, and general approaches for the extraction of knowledge from large-scale biological data sets to generate impactful discoveries in biology.
You will hold a PhD and be an expert in machine-learning, who understands the value of developing your highly original, independent computational research interests from within a world-leading laboratory of molecular biology.
