We continue searching for top-flight talent to join our diverse department by inviting applications for Research Fellow(s) with expertise in secure cyber systems engineering to join our thriving and growing secure cyber systems research group (SCSRG). This role will allow you to work on exciting, innovative projects in the SCSRG and contribute to the next generation of secure and trustworthy systems engineering principles.

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our vibrant research community and assist in designing and developing fundamental frameworks and models for security and resilience in autonomous and distributed systems. The candidate will explore the latest state-of-the-art security testing and validation techniques, examine and improve the latest methods for modeling cyber effects, and characterise potential sources of threats. The ideal candidate will also work on developing and deploying ML-based systems for threat landscape and attack identification and supplement existing research efforts in SCSRG.

If you are near submission or have recently submitted your PhD but have not yet had it conferred, any offers of employment will be made as Research Assistant at the top of level 5 of the University grade structure. Upon receipt of evidence of the successful award of your PhD, you will be promoted to Research Fellow on the first point of level 6 of the University grade structure.
