The above permanent Lecturer or Senior Lecturer post in Structural Geology, Field Geology and Geological Mapping (E&S) role is available immediately in the Camborne School of Mines, Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences.
The role
The post of Lecturer in Structural Geology, Field Geology and Geological Mapping will support the delivery of innovative world-class education in geology. We are particularly interested in individuals with expertise in some of the following areas: structural geology / rock mechanics, field geology, regional geology, geophysical survey techniques, and geological mapping. There is an expectation that in time the holder will take on the role of Programme Lead for Geology.
For the Senior Lecturer role, in addition to teaching, the holder will take on the role of Programme Lead for Geology. The post will also have a co-ordinating role for the geological field courses that underpin all our undergraduate Geology degrees.
