Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences, Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology, Roosevelt Drive, Headington, Oxford OX3 7FY.

The post holder will be a member of the Vincent Lab, at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology, with responsibility for the provision of research support for STEpUP OA, a large international consortium with collected molecular and clinical datasets from patients with osteoarthritis, as well as performing wider administrative activities supporting the Centre for Osteoarthritis Pathogenesis Versus Arthritis (KIR).
 
As the post holder, you will maintain research records and audit/surveillance tools to track the progress of STEpUP OA; incorporate new ideas and requirements into existing systems; maintain accurate and efficient filing and electronic storage systems. You will help support the laboratory experiments related to STEpUP OA research, as well as support general laboratory management and administration for the wider Vincent Lab, including stock control.
 
You must hold a first degree, together with proven relevant administrative experience, have a high degree of of accuracy and attention to detail demonstrated by ability to follow and work to detailed written instructions associated with quality control or compliance. It is essential that you have experience of creating and updating SOPs and other version-controlled study documentation and strong IT literacy.
Experience of working with research services, including managing Data Transfer Agreements, Material Transfer Agreements and Site Agreements is desirable.
 
Due to the nature of the research at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology, this job will require additional security pre-employment checks:
•    A satisfactory basic Disclosure and Barring Service check
