Hours: Part Time
Contract Type: Permanent
Placed On: 20th May 2024
Closes: 7th June 2024

The Case Centre is the independent home of the case method. We are dedicated to advancing the case method worldwide, sharing knowledge, wisdom and experience to inspire and transform business education across the globe. We are a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity.

We hold and distribute the world’s largest and most diverse collection of management cases, articles, book chapters and teaching materials, including the collections of leading business schools across the globe. We also offer a wide variety of services, resources and activities to support the case community.

We are searching for a talented copywriter and editor to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will research and write in depth articles and other related content about the case method suitable for our audience of business education professors.

You will be an excellent author who can write concisely and structure articles well. You will proactively develop and write content to showcase the importance of the case method, sharing insights and trends with educators to strengthen The Case Centre’s reputation as a knowledge hub and leader in the field.

You will need to develop and maintain relationships with our existing academic network to build a pipeline of relevant and topical articles that will be engaging for the case community. You will have first class interviewing skills, knowing how to develop and nurture relationships with academics and convey their work and theories into interesting and informative articles. You will have awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences, especially when dealing with professors from diverse backgrounds.

We are looking for an individual with the initiative and foresight to proactively search for engaging and relevant topics, creating content that captures the interest of the case community. This role is your opportunity to develop and hone your content writing skills and to contribute to the reputation of the case method across the globe.

This is a part time position, requiring a 20 hour per week commitment. We can be flexible on days of work, but there will be a requirement for you to be on site in our Cranfield office on a weekly basis to build cohesion with the team and to fully understand The Case Centre. Given the global reach of our academics, on occasion we will require your flexibility in both approach and work hours to facilitate scheduling interviews and appointments with educators across different time zones.

We offer a competitive salary of £17,297 to £18,918 per annum for 20 hours per week (£32,000-£35,000 FTE), together with over 4 weeks annual leave, a generous pension scheme together with a comprehensive benefits programme.

If you would like to apply for this role, please supply your CV, cover letter and an example of your work. The closing date is 7th June 2024. Interviews for this role will be held w/c 17th June 2024.
