This PhD studentship, hosted by the Energy Demand Research Centre, will explore questions of how individual and social organisation affect the potential to realise deep energy demand reduction solutions. While many energy demand solutions can be realised relatively easily, deeper shifts in, e.g, food, mobility, work, and consumer goods require different ways of organising our time and activities, and ways of working together. This position will examine the governance implications of these necessary but more disruptive shifts in lives and livelihoods.
