The IPDM will be embedded within MRC Centre for Medical Mycology (MRC CMM) team and contribute to the smooth running and success of a newly funded project called FAILSAFE (Fungal AMR Innovations for LMICS: Solutions and Access For Everyone - https://cmm-failsafe.com/.
The main responsibility of the Impact and Partnership Development Manager (IPDM) is to boost and facilitate business involvement and partnerships for the FAILSAFE project. This involves identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, as well as leading key strategic business development projects in collaboration with academic staff and project partners. Additionally, the IPDM will assist in meeting both strategic and operational needs of the project, manage the network of academic and industry partnerships, oversee fund distribution and project outputs, take the lead in engaging stakeholders and partners, support commercialisation efforts by collaborating with experts, and coordinate various aspects such as communications, budgets, and reporting as necessary.
This exciting opportunity will require regular UK and International travel, including travel to low and middle income countries (LMICs).
