An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Space & Strategy Management Team in Estates & Facilities Management. We are looking for a hard-working individual to join the team as a Space Development Manager. In this varied and dynamic role you will mainly focus on supporting our Faculties in managing their footprint and bringing forward development opportunities for their estate in line with the wider University needs. This role will involve a level of strategic planning and will be pivotal in developing option appraisals and business cases.
As a team, we work closely with Faculty & School colleagues and act as their conduit into Estates & Facilities Management. Our role is to ensure that the University is the right size and shape for our academic endeavour and to make sure that we are using our space as efficiently and effectively as we possibly can - ensuring that we are utilising our space well. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining this data to support our strategic planning and decision-making. This roles sits within the Property, Strategy and Business Support Team and you will be part of a team of experienced space professionals.

You will help to facilitate a professional and efficient service whilst supporting the Faculties and Schools development. You will also act as a business relationship partner with our Faculty colleagues and will need to represent Estates & Facilities Management in a professional capacity at all times.
