We are recruiting to the role of Tutor (English) to join our new group organisation, Roehampton Education Services Ltd, to deliver English Language provision on the School’s International pathway programmes and wider short course offer, on behalf of the University of Roehampton. This is an exciting time to join Roehampton Education Services Ltd, as we develop and grow our international pathways into undergraduate and postgraduate education and broader Continuing Professional Development portfolio.
Applications are invited for part-time Tutor positions 0.6FTE (22.5 hours per week) and above, up to full-time (37.5 hours per week).
The Role
This role is ideal for someone who has experience of delivering quality learning, teaching and assessment, course management, and strong student experience and outcomes in a higher educational setting (undergraduate and postgraduate) and/or private provider language school.
Key responsibilities will include delivering exceptional learning and teaching for International Pathway programmes (undergraduate, postgraduate and CPD), ensuring high quality student experience, english language outcomes/equivalency and assessment management. Delivery will include teaching english language and/or academic english provision, ensuring students have the appropriate academic and professional skills for UK Higher Education study and professional body/ employment requirements.

You will be responsible for teaching across programmes (applicable to your skills and expertise) and will oversee designated module/ course delivery, developing relevant module/course learning materials, leading assessment and exam readiness and ensuring appropriate teaching support for students from a variety of backgrounds. You will work collaboratively with contributing teaching teams, the dedicated Curriculum Manager and Head of Continuing Education.
You will have a proven track record in english language higher education learning and teaching, and experience of supporting the needs of diverse student groups to achieve strong student engagement, experience and english equivalency. You will be teaching-led with a student-focused approach to lifelong learning, inclusive education and industry readiness. You may also have a range of knowledge and expertise within academic english support and/or online learning as well as proven success for supporting international students within the UK.
