Sarum College in Salisbury’s Cathedral Close is looking for a personable and enthusiastic Director for the Centre for Spiritual Direction at Sarum College.
The successful candidate will lead and direct the Centre for Spiritual Direction, which includes leading the Sarum Course in Spiritual Direction; undertake spiritual direction and supervision with individuals and retreatants; develop and promote the programme within Spiritual Direction networks; and run programmes and retreats within the wider educational offer of Sarum College.
Our staff team works closely together, and we are looking for a colleague who will lead and support the Spiritual Direction teams and students with care, dedication, rigour, and expertise. This is a varied and interesting role, being a representative of the College and working closely with colleagues.
Salary £26,065 (3.5 days pro-rata based on an FTE salary of £37,237) plus a pension contribution of 8.5% of salary to the nominated pension scheme, currently the Church of England Church Workers Pension Fund (Pension Builder Classic), and lunch in the Refectory on working days in College, when available.
Study leave equivalent to one week’s work with a budget for travel and/or conference fees is also provided.
The post is part-time at 3.5 days (24.5 hours) per week. There is scope to review this for a possible increase depending on the development and needs of the programme.
