Student Systems Team – Student Administration & Academic Affairs

An opportunity has arisen to join the University’s Student Systems Team on a 12 month fixed term contract, working with colleagues across the institution to shape the future of the University’s Banner Student Record System.

As an experienced change manager, you will have the skills and expertise to lead on change management for Banner workstreams as we embark on a programme of modernisation and development.  In this role you will be part of our Banner programme team, working with a range of technical specialists and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and adoption.

What you’ll do: 

  • Focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures.
  • Undertake change impact assessments, recommend relevant change management interventions, assess business readiness and implement change management strategies. for communications, engagement, training, and resistance management.
  • Working as part of the Student Systems Team, you’ll report to the Head of Business Change and Project Support.

What you’ll bring:

  • An understanding of the importance of change management in programme and project delivery.
  • Ability to build a change management plan with mapped activities, milestones, deliverables, outcomes, and benefits identification.
  • Experience of analysing situations and problems, an ability to work systematically to resolve problems, identify causes, anticipate implications and make informed decisions on courses of actions.
  • An understanding of change management tools, methodologies, and models.
