Your expertise in Psychology will be welcomed and valued in our vibrant, academically rich, and interdisciplinary School of Humanities and Social Sciences. This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative team of Psychologists situated between the South Downs National Park, and the coast here in Brighton. The team has seen some growth in recent years and is keen to add breadth to an already strong bank of expertise.
We are particularly looking for expertise in the areas of Forensic, Health and Cyberpsychology with a view to developing our postgraduate provision in these areas. Expertise and up-to-date knowledge in other areas of psychology will also be considered.
To be effective in this role, you must:
In addition, you will have a solid knowledge of general psychology as a basis for teaching on a variety of core BPS psychology curriculum areas, across our undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programmes. Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate their willingness and ability to contribute to a range of teaching across the curriculum, and have a commitment to pastoral care, and supporting students’ development.
