We are seeking a short-term post to contribute to the NERC-funded project, Connected Treescapes, focusing on the delivery of an online decision-support tool.
The decision-support tool is an online application based on the Shiny package, with a preferred implementation in Python, as this will enable the creation of a self-standing web app. This part of the project requires specialised knowledge of the software and the ability to construct an online front-end and implement the tool online.
The post will suit a graduate in computing science or engineering (preferably MSc or MEng), with an emphasis on the ability to deliver quickly. Working knowledge of Python and/or R, as well as Shiny, is required, whereas experience in constructing online front-end is desirable.
Informal enquiries about the post can be directed to Prof. Adam Kleczkowski (a.kleczkowski@strath.ac.uk).
Formal interviews for this post will be held in June 2024.
