Executive Secretary of the Cambridge Philosophical Society

The Cambridge Philosophical Society have a vacancy for an Executive Secretary to join the Society in early Autumn 2024. This is a wonderful opportunity for a highly organised, skilled Administrator to work for an historic and distinguished society.

The successful applicant will have experience of providing high-level administrative support and will work closely with the President, Treasurer and Communications Officer to support the members of Council in fulfilling the aims of the Society which is to promote research in all branches of science and to encourage the communication of the results of scientific research.

The salary will be between £40,000 - £43,000 p.a. depending on experience and ideally the successful applicant will work between 80 – 100% FTE. This role is based in the centre of Cambridge but hybrid working is available as agreed with the President.
