Technical & Production’s Production Technicians are responsible for the organisation, provision, maintenance, and safe operation of the School’s production technology and equipment, and the support of student learning, teaching activities, productions, and other research activities.
The team works school wide in a variety of contexts be it one-on-one, with groups, in workshops, or on productions providing training, guidance, and support in technical practices, production processes, and the use of performance technologies.
Production Technicians are required to work across all disciplines of technical production, but posts have a defined specialism:
The Interdisciplinary role has a focus on the innovative and experimental use of technologies in performance practices and creative development; particularly working in collaborative, devised and alternative theatre contexts.
