As part of the BU2025 Strategy, there are a three major programmes;
The IT Programmes and Digital Transformation Team (PDT) team at Bournemouth University manage delivery of the BU2025 programme of work above, this incorporates strategic IT and Business projects. The programme ranges from major strategic projects initiated by Faculties, Professional Services and internally by IT to small requests for enhancements and service improvements.
The PDT team aim to deliver all of these projects using standard consistent processes, ensuring that quality and service robustness are built into the delivery with requirements being clearly articulated and managed to delivery throughout the project process.
We are looking for an Associate IT Project Manager to join our team to help drive our delivery capability forward. This role will primarily be responsible for managing small projects and assisting on larger projects ensuring that project delivery is to a high quality and to time and budget.
You will have experience in delivery of projects and change in a structured environment and be dynamic, driven, work to high standards and be able to build collaborative relationships with both customer areas and IT professionals. A technical background is preferred but not necessary. This is an exciting time to join the team as the work required is very varied and touches on all major University systems and processes.
