The role and about you
The University of Southampton is seeking an accountancy assistant to provide support to the University’s finance department and their external customers. This interesting and varied role is on a full-time basis with a blend of office and remote working.
To be successful you should be well organized, analytical, and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills, able to demonstrate a working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and have a basic understanding of accounting. An interest in pursuing a financial qualification is desirable. You will use the University costing and accounting systems for which training will be provided.
