Job Summary
The Statistics and Clinical Studies service of NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) is responsible for the design and analysis of studies in organ and tissue donation and transplantation, blood donation and transfusion medicine. Our UKCRC registered Clinical Trials Unit is part of the group and runs clinical trials in these areas. The studies that we are involved in are designed to continuously improve the quality of care provided to donors and recipients of organs and blood components. The analysis and interpretation of results informs decision-making on developments in donation, transplantation and transfusion, the clinical care of donors and patients, and equity of access to treatment.

Please note that the department will be moving to Filton Blood Centre by the end of 2024. You will initially need to travel to Stoke Gifford at least a minimum of 4 days per month.
