Who we need:
We are looking for talented lecturers to join our high performing Art & Design team with experience in teaching art students across all levels of the curriculum. This could include UAL and BTEC Art & Design Qualifications, Non accredited Adult courses, HE and Access / pre access art courses. All courses develop students’ creative skills and wider skills of communication, organisation, teamwork, and progression. Specialist skill sets in art/design/media would be suitable as you will working within academic teams delivering the curriculum. You may also be a course leader and play a key role in organising events and end of year Art shows. Key duties will include:

You will be a responsible, confident, and supportive teacher who has the skills to nurture students. You will have an empathic and supportive approach to working with students to raise their aspirations and build their confidence to meet their full potential. You will support the course team in administration duties and can lead on projects and events.
Applicants must be passionate about teaching in the FE and HE sector and be committed to ensuring that our learners make the best possible progress. There are a range of opportunities available and the successful applicants should be ready to start in August 2024. Hours are flexible and negotiable upon the successful candidates.
