Who we need
You will possess sound knowledge of Early Years and Teaching Assistant standards for L2 & L3 awards. You will have worked within the industry in the last 5 years.
You will support the curriculum with ensuring apprentices have the knowledge, skills and behaviour to succeed whilst in college and in the workplace. As part of your learner journey responsibility, key duties will include:
1. To ensure apprentices cover the relevant knowledge, skills, and behaviours of their vocational area, to meet their end point assessment.
2. Be responsible for conducting reviews as appropriate, which could take place remotely or in the workplace, and could involve local or national travel depending on the area of work.
3. Take responsibility for a caseload of apprentices and their E-portfolios, ensuring timely completion within agreed and appropriate timescales.
4. Liaise with employers, employer mentors to tailor the apprentices learning based on their individual needs. Build professional working relationships with employers within the sector to encourage employer engagement.
5. Provide learners with a comprehensive, detailed assessment and progress review with supportive feedback in conjunction with the employer to ensure learning progression is identified and correctly recorded.
