We are recruiting visiting tutors to join our new group organisation, Roehampton Education Services Ltd , to contribute (as appropriate) to the delivery of the School’s Life and Health Sciences preparation, international pathway, extended masters and/or Continuing Professional Development courses, on behalf of the University of Roehampton. This is an exciting time to join Roehampton Education Services Ltd, as we develop and grow our breadth of academic, technical and vocational education.

The successful candidate will join our team in the School of Continuing Education as a Visiting Tutor,with experience of teaching in a relevant discipline (Life and/or Health Sciences) within a Further or Higher Education context. The appointment will involve teaching, managing and delivering Life and Health Science modules/ courses and related student teaching and pastoral support. We encourage a diverse and flexible approach to teaching, learning and assessment, and encourage applicants who have previous experience working with a range of undergraduate and/or postgraduate students (Level 4- Level 7).

Through leading individual and group learning sessions, you will encourage self-directed study and independent learning, relevant to their field of study. All RESL tutors actively promote successful student outcomes through active engagement with in-person, hybrid and asynchronous/ online learning. We also support students by providing structured independent activities and material that extend beyond scheduled contact time.

Successful applicants will have experience in education and/or training using many of the teaching and learning approaches listed above, as well as with supporting students, and marking assessments. Industry experience is desirable, as is experience with virtual learning environments and/or online learning. We are seeking individuals who are: student-centred; demonstrate excellent interpersonal and analytical skills; able to work with a wide range of students and can work flexibly (including evening and/or weekends, as relevant).
