SALARY & HOURS: £44,044, Full time, Fixed Term Contract to May 2025

This is an exciting opportunity to join our fast-growing Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Buckingham. This is a Fixed Term, Maternity Cover role which will give the successful candidate exposure to working as part of a team of academic and professional services staff whilst having the opportunity to engage with our students and external healthcare professionals. You will contribute to the successful running of our Faculty, help maintain our exacting standards, gain new skills, interact with a range of stakeholders and work with an outstanding team of people across our University.

The FMHS Deputy Quality Lead will work in collaboration with the Faculty Strategic Development & Quality Lead to ensure the quality of the Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences (FMHS) programmes are monitored, reviewed and evaluated in a systematic way.

The role will oversee the administrative and operational management of the Quality domain, ensuring day-to-day quality processes and activities are carried out to a high standard, in line with internal, University and sector-wide frameworks.

The post-holder will provide advice and assistance to the faculty on matters of quality assurance and regulatory compliance, ensuring all Professional, regulatory and statutory body requirements are met across the faculty.

The post-holder will also take initiative to drive change and support faculty-wide quality improvement projects, promoting a culture of best practice and a commitment continuous improvement.
