This Senior Lecturer post arises from a bequest to the St George’s Hospital Charity that forms the basis of the Joan Russell Davies Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Research Programme.
The post is expected to deliver cutting edge research into the clinical application of Artificial Intelligence in the field. It is one element of a new and exciting development of our focused research strategy at St George’s following the recent establishment of the Cardiovascular and Genomics Research Institute and the imminent merger with City University whose CitAI Research Centre this post will work closely with.
The appointee will be an active and internationally recognised academic who will support existent areas of research strength in the Institute and St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and can grow their own research group.
A funded PhD studentship is on offer as well as an award for pilot projects for new clinical applications.
