We are looking for a skilled Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on a recently awarded BBSRC Impact Accelerator Award. The project aims to develop a novel targeted drug delivery system using polymer-lipid nanoparticles.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in membrane biology, including characterizing polymer-lipid nanoparticles for drug delivery, membrane protein expression and purification, and mammalian cell culture. The techniques involved will mainly focus on protein and lipid biochemistry and cell culture e.g. SDS-PAGE, western blotting, affinity chromatography, size exclusion chromatography, cell proliferation assays, and microscopy. An ability to learn new techniques quickly is highly desirable and full training will be given as needed.
The post is available for a fixed term of 12 months with an ideal start date in July 2024.
