Turning Passion into Purpose. London South Bank University is seeking an experienced Biomedical Science Technician to support its Biomedical Science laboratories.
As a Biomedical Science Technician, you will work in close collaboration with the Technical Services Manager, the senior technician and with principal investigators to maintain and develop the currency of the Biomedical Sciences laboratories. You will work to ensure the smooth running and operation of teaching, research, and related activities within the designated facilities. The key activities and responsibilities in relation to this role are summarised in the attached Candidate Pack.
Keen to broaden your knowledge, understanding and experience of these disciplines, you will benefit from the opportunities to develop expertise with a wide range of current, new, and emerging technologies.
About You:
To be successful in this post you will have a grounded understanding of cellular and molecular biology and have significant relevant expertise in at least one specific related discipline; enabling you to pass on this knowledge to undergraduate/postgraduate students in a practical setting.
