This full-time permanent post is available immediately. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

Summary of the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Enterprise and Innovation Programmes Officer to join our Contract Research, Consultancy and Industrial Studentship team. The University of Exeter has strong relationships with businesses and other non-academic partners, drives innovation and makes a big impact on society and the economy. Exeter Innovation (EI) is the professional team that supports and drives this critical work.

The Enterprise and Innovation Programmes Officer will support academic colleagues to develop Contract Research, Consultancy and Industrial Studentship projects with external clients to help meet the Universities strategic objectives. The post will support academic colleagues across the whole University, with a focus in the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. This will include costing projects and contract negotiation with clients. The post holder will work with internal teams in the University to ensure necessary legal, ethical and financial considerations are fulfilled for each project.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational, IT and communication skills who can work flexibly and proactively in a team to deliver multiple objectives and high service standards. The successful candidate will have some flexibility to choose their working pattern.
