We are excited to be recruiting an Alumni Communications Intern to join Westminster’s award-winning Alumni Relations Office. 
 
The University of Westminster has over 200,000 alumni from over 180 countries, and our suite of alumni communications is key to maintaining the University’s connection with graduates around the world.
 
As our Alumni Communications Intern, you will support in the planning, drafting and editing of communications across various platforms, including:
  • Timely email campaigns and tailored e-newsletters (Campaign Monitor)
  • Impactful social media posts (LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube)
  • Topical ‘alumni success’ interviews and articles (WordPress blog)
You will have the opportunity to use your creativity, learn key editorial skills, and develop your writing and proofreading abilities. 
 
You will provide essential support to the Senior Alumni Communications Officer at an exciting time where we are growing the University’s digital offering for its graduates. 
 
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Experience of general office duties
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
Hybrid working will include at least one day a week in our central London (Wells Street) office. The University offers a generous 35 days of annual leave and holds colleague wellbeing as one of its core values.
