The Centre for the Analysis of Taxation (CenTax) is a new centre dedicated to advancing knowledge and understanding of taxation policies and practices. Led by Dr Arun Advani (Warwick) and Dr Andy Summers (LSE), research will be undertaken to generate rigorous quantitative evidence on tax at the top, develop targeted and feasible reforms, and communicate findings transparently to policy, media and civil society stakeholders.
As the Communication and Public Affairs Lead, you will work with the Directors to enable the Centre to maximise the impact of its work on policy and practice through a strategic programme of stakeholder engagement.
As an experienced communications or PR professional, you will have a demonstrable track record of building communication and stakeholder strategies to shape policy development and issues at a national level, ensuring communications are targeted and tracked. Experience of translating complex research into engaging content for non-academic audiences is essential, as are strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively alongside a wide range of people.
