We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Technician to join the Department of Materials Science and Engineering as part of the Advanced Metals Processing team.
The AMP team operate and maintain equipment in the areas of Thermomechanical Processing, Alloy Manufacturing and Additive Manufacturing. This post is funded by Royce@UoS. It is part of the national Henry Royce Institute which aims to grow the UK world-leading research and innovation base in advanced materials science, fundamental to all industrial sectors and the national economy.
We are seeking candidates who hold a Higher National Diploma or Certificate in a chemical or biological scientific subject area. You should also have experience of operating and maintaining a range of technical equipment in a workshop environment.
