The role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to apply leadership skills and utilise a breadth of knowledge. Understanding the funding landscape and how it applies to health research at the University and utilising skills of analysis and judgement will position you to provide insights and advice that positively influences the strategies selected to grow research income. With a key role also in implementing those strategies, you will build and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the full spectrum of research support activity to ensure plans are delivered efficiently and effectively. You will be committed to managing people and play a lead role in contributing to the positive, supportive, and highly collaborative environment we value. Building excellent working relationships with professional and academic staff across the University is central to the role and you will recognise the importance of fostering positive working relationships across a wide range of teams, disciplines, and levels of seniority.
