Agile working (blend of home and office based) plus travel to partner institutes when required.
The Opportunity
This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join the 6G-FINESSE project team in Keele University’s School of Computer Science and Mathematics. This will be an exciting opportunity to work with new 6G communication technologies. The research project part of Cheddar future telecom hub is funded by EPSRC and DSIT. The post holder will contribute to the development of physical layer security-based encryption and authentication algorithms for 6G communication. The 6G-FINESSE project aims to improve connectivity in rural areas while addressing security challenges such as eavesdropping, weak authentication, and trustworthiness. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cyber security with a particular emphasis on encryption and authentication schemes. The knowledge of 6G communications is desirable.
