Do you have sound knowledge of CWP/EMHP working and low-intensity evidence-based practice for children, young people, and families? Are you a good communicator with an excellent person-centred approach? Would you like to help new trainees develop their theory and approach and support them along their journey to becoming qualified practitioners?
Due to the continued implementation of the CWP and EMHP training programmes, we are looking for dedicated, organised, motivated and caring individuals with the relevant CYP low-intensity qualification and experience to become part of the Cedar clinical education team. If you have an interest in sharing and developing great low-intensity practice whilst supporting and advising aspiring practitioners through their training, then please apply.
We have an Associate Lecturer role available from October 2024 within Cedar at the University of Exeter. The Associate Lecture role provides opportunity for individuals looking to begin their clinical academic career and we can offer flexible start dates over the coming term. This role will initially be on a fixed term contract to 31st December 2025, but we anticipate extending the post subject to expected funding.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
We welcome applications from candidates interested in working part-time (minimum of 0.8 FTE) hours or job-sharing arrangements.
About the role
This role is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to and shape the delivery of CWP and EMHP training so that it becomes as inclusive and effective as possible and help trainees to bridge theory into practice to become competent and confident practitioners.The job role entails delivery on the CWP and EMHP teaching and training both remotely and in-person.
There is every expectation that this will become a long-term role as funding continues, so we would particularly welcome applications from those interested in developing a longer-term career as a clinical educator within Cedar.
