The role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Coordinator to join our team at Madingley Hall and support all financial aspects of the operational teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the key areas of input into core accounting systems, as well as monitoring and preparing Hall budgets, and providing forecasting information, based on business sectors. They will work collaboratively with Hall departments and the Institute Finance Team to analyse financial data, provide budgetary advice, and ensure compliance with financial procedures and financial regulations.
Key responsibilities include ensuring the Hall can maximise income, implement and monitor cost savings, and identifying funds for new initiatives. The Finance Coordinator will also be the focal point for the processing of invoices, manage banking, and sales ledger processes, working in collaboration with the Finance Team to feed into management reporting and strategic decision making, providing a key conduit for all financial aspects of the Hall. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role involves building relationships with Hall departmental leads and feeding into senior management and oversight committees.
