The role
We are seeking applications from highly motivated candidates to undertake the role of technician (research and teaching). The successful candidate, under the direction of the senior technician, will provide technical support for staff and students in the school of Psychological Sciences in using specialist software and experimental equipment. You will be expected to maintain and organise the equipment and software.
What will you be doing?
This post provides technical support for teaching and research activities associated with the School of Psychological Science. You will help to maintain laboratory facilities and supplies, including equipment and consumables, support academic and student research, provide software support (e.g. Qualtrics and Gorilla) and liaise with any relevant stakeholders (e.g Maintenance or IT services). You will also be responsible for elements of Health and Safety such as Research Risk Assessments and up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures that comply with appropriate health and safety requirements. You will also assist the Senior Technician as and when required.
