The Role
We are seeking to appoint a talented researcher with expertise and experience in Radio Frequency sensor design, with a specific focus on RF sensing, to work on an EPSRC funded project named SecureSense: A Secure 6G Enabled Realtime Joint Communication and Sensing Testbed.
In this role, you will support the investigator in the delivery of the project through high-quality research in the field of RF sensing, undertake project management, and/or supervise multi-disciplinary teams. In addition, you will be expected to submit publications to peer-reviewed journals, attract external research funding, and assist in collecting impact-related data.
This is an EPSRC funded post.
Qualifications Required
Good degree (1st class or 2.1) in an appropriate subject such as RF electronics.
Undertaking a PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering/Computer Science, or an appropriate subject aligned to RF electronics focused on healthcare.
Our Successful Candidate
The successful applicant will have hands-on expertise with Universal Software Radio Peripherals to design an intelligent joint communication and sensing testbed in 6G, particularly focusing on monitoring people’s health, especially their breathing patterns.
