The post
The Faculty wishes to recruit a Postdoctoral Research Associate (Grade E) or Fellow (grade F) to support the work of Professor Alastair Wilson. This NERC funded post is available from 1 October 2024 for a period of 36 months. There is some flexibility in start date (with a start date potentially as late as January 2025).
The successful applicant will conduct research at Exeter’s Centre for Ecology and Conservation to understand Divergent and parallel evolution of boldness in guppies.

The role will primarily include: day-to-day management of the project, working with the technician to develop and deliver lab-based behavioural studies of fish, conducting analyses of behavioural and genomic data, leading manuscript writing, and delivery of presentation to communicate results.
