Applications are invited for a Temporary (12 month) post of a UCD Postdoctoral Researcher Level 1 within UCD School of Information and Communications Studies .
The research project aims to research the design of and interaction with proactive collaboration AI agents to build long term trust. To achieve this the project looks to hire an excellent researcher with experience leading technical research activities related to eye tracking, experiment paradigm development and prototype building. The project is a collaboration between SFI ADAPT academics (Prof. Benjamin Cowan and Assist. Prof. Giovanni Di Liberto) and an industry partner. The researcher will be based within the HCI@UCD group at the School of Information & Communication Studies within University College Dublin. The researcher will also join the ADAPT Centre, a leading large scale research centre focused on AI driven content technology research.
This is a research focused role, where you will conduct a specified programme of research supported by research training and development under the supervision and direction of a Principal Investigator.
The primary purpose of the role is to further develop your research skills and competences, including the processes of publication in peer-reviewed academic publications, the development of funding proposals, the mentorship of graduate students along with the opportunity to develop your skills in research led teaching.
Post Doc Level 1 Salary Scale: €44,347 - €50,805 Per Annum.
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
