We looking to appoint a motivated and accomplished individual as a Postdoctoral Qualitative Research Fellow to work on the PAINSTORM consortium as part of the Advanced Pain Discovery Platform (APDP). The postholder will support Dr Kathryn Martin (a member of the Academic Primary Care Research Group within the Institute of Applied Health Sciences, School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition) and other members of the PAINSTORM consortium external to the University of Aberdeen to characterise the lived experience of neuropathic pain, to understand and improve assessment of neuropathic pain and its impact on daily life.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in social sciences or epidemiology and demonstrated experience of qualitative data collection and analysis. Overall, responsibilities include:
Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 6 scale, £37,099 - £39,347 per annum, pro rata and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.
