The Primary Care Unit (PCU) in the Department of Public Health and Primary Care are seeking a Data Coordinator to assist the existing team in providing data management support to the PCU research groups.
Through our five primary care research themes of Behaviour and Health, Cardiovascular Disease and Diabetes, Cancer, Health Services Research and End of Life Care, the PCU aims to:
The main responsibilities of this role will be to support the IT Specialist to develop and maintain new and current IT databases, and support the maintenance and development of Unit, Departmental and research project specific websites and electronic survey platforms.
The post holder will be required to demonstrate good data management practice, especially in terms of data robustness and security, under the guidance of the IT Specialist.
Educated to at least degree level (or equivalent) you will have relevant data handling experience in a role which has required you to prioritise, multi-task and pay close attention to detail. You must have excellent organisation and communication skills and be able to work autonomously.
The funds for these posts are available until 31st March 2026 in the first instance.
This position is full-time (36.5 hours per week) working Monday ¿ Friday. Part-time applications will be considered for no less than 0.7 FTE per week.
Location - East Forvie Building, University Forvie Site, Robinson Way, Cambridge Biomedical Campus, Cambridge CB2 0SR (approximately 2 miles south of the city centre)
