We have an exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant to join the diverse academic Schools of Computer Science and Electrical & Electronic Engineering. We are looking for candidates who are experienced in providing secretarial/clerical/personal assistant support.
In this varied role, you will be responsible for providing personal assistant support to the School Directors of Research & Innovation, Education and One University (the School Executive Team), providing effective diary management to the School Directors. In addition to supporting and drafting responses for email, you will use your experience of providing committee servicing to plan and support school meetings including preparing data packs to support committee decision making. You will also maintain the School webpages for committee members and academic administration responsibilities and support the schools finance and HR processes.
This role requires excellent communication and organisation skills and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. You should be able to work independently and prioritise your workload. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in providing high level personal assistant support, events organisation and acting as an e-recruiter for the school, as well as assisting the Executive Assistant to the Head of School with school processes.
