This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic interdisciplinary team and work with the Ellison Institute of Technology in Oxford to build a new and innovative approach to international infectious diseases research and surveillance on the one hand, and clinical diagnostics on the other hand. The primary purpose of this post is to play a critical management and development role for EIT Pathogena, leading a team of research software engineers.
The successful applicant will play a key role in the programme, leading a team of research software engineers that takes responsibility for parts of the design and implementation of computational components for data acquisition, integration, and/or analysis across a wide range of platforms and pathogens. Another key function will be to help guide the interdisciplinary team to make the work translational moving from the research domain towards real world use cases in the clinical and public health arenas, and helping to develop the “user journeys” and sprint planning.
Applications from those returning to work after career or other breaks would be welcomed.
