Post Summary

The Purpose of the Role

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and supervision duties across the School, and will have an active programme of research in drama and theatre in education that will contribute to the international profile of the School. The post of Assistant Professor in Drama and Theatre in Education is a replacement post for a staff member seconded to a different role for a period of 5 years. The successful candidate will co-ordinate the M.Ed. in Drama in Education. They will teach and supervise on this course and will contribute to the School’s other taught and research programmes including supervision at masters and doctoral levels. The post-holder will undertake research, knowledge generation and dissemination in the field of drama and theatre in education, including arts integration.
