We are seeking to appoint a part time Lecturer in Orthodontic Therapy to join the Team in the School of Medicine and Dentistry. The school operates primarily within a primary care framework. The focus of the role will be supporting the Orthodontic Therapy programme and contributing to course administration.
You should have experience of working as an Orthodontic Therapist in a Primary Care setting, along with experience of teaching and supervision.
Educationally, you should hold a first degree in a relevant subject area (or be willing to work towards this on appointment.) You will also need to hold a Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy, a recognised teaching qualification or willingness to undertake on appointment (within 2 years), and registration with the GDC as an Orthodontic Therapist is essential.
You will be an active networker, with excellent communication skills and you will have the ability to work well within a team. You will need experience of standard Microsoft packages.
