The School wishes to appoint a highly motivated individual to join our enthusiastic and committed MBBS teaching team.
This post sits with the clinical years of the MBBS programme. The post holder will act as Module Lead for the Medicine in Clinical Practice strand of the curriculum within Year 3 of the MBBS course and as such will oversee and participate in the delivery of teaching and assessment for the module.
The right candidate will be currently working as a medical practitioner within an NHS setting and will have experience within undergraduate medical education. Full registration with the GMC is essential and the post holder will have a recognised teaching qualification or willingness to undertake on appointment (within 2 years).
The post is based at Burnley campus with occasional travel to UCLan’s Preston and Whitehaven campuses. Informal enquiries are welcomed; please contact Dr Helen Miles, Deputy Director of Clinical Studies.
