Working in the Data Analytics Team (DAT) based within LIDA, as a Research Software Engineer you will work with researchers from across the University across a range of research areas, including on technical software development, data management and cloud computing, to accelerate productivity, improve research outcomes and generate societal impact.
As well as spending time embedded within a variety research projects across domains and disciplines you will also be responsible for taking the lead on the day to day running of the University of Leeds’ Trusted Research Environment. This involves contributing to new research proposals, collaboratively designing and implementing project work flows and helping improve the service whilst ensuring compliance with University policy.
